International Women’s Day falls on the 8th of March each year, and has been celebrated across the world since the early 1900’s.
Originally, its aim was to provide a forum for women to campaign for equality and women’s rights. Over time, it has evolved and now, every year in March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to recognise the progress that has been made, to inspire women and to celebrate their achievements.
This morning I was invited to speak in a zoom class for a very inspiring all female workforce looking to learn some basics ready for an online presentation this afternoon. It was a privilege just to be asked and a thoroughly enjoyable session.
